Do you guys have a street tire PAX class at Harrisburg? I might head over for the state championships.

le circuit mont tremblant

Pardon the huge pics, these are from Le Circuit Mont Tremblant with the BMW CCA club (Bimmers Across Borders event):

(holy rear camber)

I passed all those cars behind me (novice group, so driver skill is all over the place):

Mmm mmm turn 1! Scary at first! Heck, still kinda scary every time. But really awesome when you figure out how to get it done right!

OK one more, and yeah, I did pass the Porsche :

Only thing to be careful of, if your cat is really hot parking on long grass WILL cause a fire. FYI

The ground was mostly swamp, huge puddles everywhere, but at least you could see the grass. My car is in about to be under water. Anyone have any oppinions on putting a car on jackstands for extended periods of time? I have 2 stands and one jack. I was thinking of putting the car up, one side on stands, other side middle on the jack. Tropical storm fay wont go away, theres an inch of water in my kitchen and rising, and if i move the car into the road, it will be about steeringwheel high. So im pretty fukced. water will be up to the body in a few hours, opinions needed.

Holy ****... If you're safe and everything else of greater value is as good as you can get, then get it as high as you can. Cinder blocks to "safely" make platforms of extra height for the jack stands?
Call a flatbed tow truck or something if they can get through to you. (probably not if your street is 2-3' of water though...)

AAS event this past weekend in Alameda, CA (Oakland). Potentially a new Bay area site for Regional, Divisional, Tour, and Pro Solo events. All the advantages of the Racetrack site, but much larger and higher quality surface. This place rocks!

yes x 2. Since Wendover I replaced the engine, rebuilt the transmission, new front swaybar, new fuel pump, new brake pads and rotors, rebuilt all four Koni DA shocks, new ignition system.

Struggled to find the right settings on Saturday when that pic was taken, but managed to hit on a nice combination on Sunday that raised the bar considerably over the previous day and put me in good company:

Holy crap that's a lot of work! All I need to do between now and Nats is change my spark plugs (changed my oil last weekend).

Solid result. Right there PAX-wise with H. Olsen in BSP.
