"Falito" is legendary in the world of rotary drag racing in Puerto Rico. he currently owns the title for the worlds fastest 13B in his series 5 Rx7. 7.44@181+mph.. Falito said with this new engineered Rx8 by Tim Mcamis race cars he could run 6.9 with his 13B..
the car is sponsored by a puerto rican technical college. 6.9 with a 2 rotor would be a serious accomplishment..

I live in PR and actually in my town is where this RX is been built. Knowing Falito's work and experience I'm sure this will be the next world record holder. You can check further topics here:

AHH!! By the way the cars he built (RX-7)are as reliable as a swiss clock. He can go in a day at the drag strip make 4 or 5 passes, and the car is as good as the first day it was built, about 6 to 8 years ago.
... and yes here in PR we love Rotaries. We always have a war between piston vs rotary, and rotaries has the lead. Watch out Abel, Falito is coming.

PR has always been pretty serious about drag racing. And yes they LOVE the rotaries. When we have events here at Moroso they invade the "mainland" and bring alot of fast cars over here. I've always been a Z man myself and "Fernandito" and his 9 sec Z were notorious back in the day
