How about a little sticker that says 'Set Buzz Kill: Off'.
Aka: Shut off the DSC and Traction Control (for those of us that have it)

I have been autocrossing for about a year, a few times in the 8, a few times in a 86 vette and most recently (and probably for long term now) a CSP 94 miata.
I think that the miata board has tremendous amount of autocross information to bring to the table. And not all of it is for stock classes. While the miata IS a different car, the topics to put in the FAQ for the RX8 should certainly be expanded by looking at those communities more focused on the sport.
For instance:
- Miata forum has a spreadsheet for suspension & Front Roll Couple calculation
- Wheel sizes and weights are WELL known and suggestions for each non stock class abound (I.E.: a 13x8" Rota RB wheel is recommended for a budget CSP car but are hard to find)
- The alignments are named and discussed in detail as to what they provide... "toe in in the rear providing more stability at low speeds", etc... (look up the lanny alignment or the icehawk alignment on miata.net)
- What aftermarket race seats fit in the car
- which harnesses & helmets pass certification
- What timing should be set to
- How to best save weight
- What shocks are appropriate for what spring rates
- What rain tires to use
- etc...
I guess I am saying look around to see what other topics to cover in the FAQ, even if they are empty for now. And don't just do a "stock class" FAQ please... Do your homework on ST, SP, and SM classes too and where the RX8 fits with those mods.
