There were at least three "real" RX-8s at the Continental Challenge at Daytona this year. I think all of them ended up out of the race due to crashes, but I can't remember for sure. I wonder how many will be at the rest of the Continental races this year? Last year at Mid-Ohio I hung out with the guys at Pirate Motorsports, who raced their black and green car (which I think I saw this year at Daytona).

Speedsource gets 2nd(#69) and 4th(#70), followed by Dempsey Racing in 5th(#41).
Sahlen Racing got 9th, 10th and 12th.

 

Dempsey Racing just qualified the #41 car on the poll for the Porsche 250 tomorrow at Barber Motorsports Park. Race starts at 4pm ET. Want to see an 8 on the podium!!

I live in Canada so it may not be televised but I might be able to find the stream on ATDHE.net

 

You can catch it on the Speed channel. And if you dont get the SPEED channel, GRAND-AM.com has a real time scoring link on the home page as well as internet radio at the same time.

(Edit) Now Speed channel is saying they are not showing until Sunday?
