"Running out of gas" feeling?
Just wanted to make sure I really was running out of gas....
While road coursing I always try to keep as little gas in the car as possible. The other day this happened twice (in 2 different sessions), just after the "low gas" light came on, after I'd take a corner and go down the straight, the car was hesitating and acting like it had no fuel. This was after about 13 minutes of HARD driving. All gauges were completely normal.
From experience I've gathered there's 3-4 gallons of fuel still in the car when the light comes on.
After I got off the track and drove a short distance, the car was fine.
I just want to make sure it wasn't some sort of engine protection thing going on... felt like running out of gas but there was a pretty good amount of gas in the tank. I assume it was the gas "sloshing" around...
Anyone have thoughts!?!?

I try to keep at least 1/4 tank in the car while on the track.
