RX-8 to the new CSP???

Very interesting proposal. Looks like the Sky/Solstice would stay in BSP with the Evos. I'm not sure which car on this list would be the best choice for the class, but I am fairly sure it will not be the RX8. Still, this is good news for Zelse if it actually happens.

I don't mean to sound like the biggest noob, but where/how do I submit a letter suggesting I'm in favor of this as well? Just curious.

Yay, me and my buddy against Evo's and a random Porsche. LOL

I'd rather have the RX-8 in this new CSP than leave things the way they are. Maybe some top talent will build an RX-8 or two (with this more favorable classing), and we'll have some empirical data about its true SP potential.

I may not be top talent Chike, but I'm pretty confident about my SP build, especially considering I'm doing everything the rules allow pretty much to the car.

NER Has a lot of top drivers... PJ Corrales (SM), Dave White (SM), Nate Whipple (DSP), and a few others. Secondly, like I said, I may not be top talent, but I'm not slow We'll see how she does locally this year, but I'm pretty confident she'll do fine.
As for ProSolo...Why not? Isn't the point of racing to have fun and be competitive, no matter the odds? I'm not saying I'm going to win, but never know till I try, plus it'll be fun with a lot of the NER friends, and a great learning experience.
Besides, the goal of this project was to see how fast I could be compared to the Evo's in the first place. Higher center of gravity, heavier car, AWD, they have quite a few things against them, but of course they can use their brute power to make up for those things I suppose. Again, we'll see.

The RX-8 is not moving to CSP. They are simply parceling out a large section of the latest BSP class to recreate the old BSP class as it more or less existed before they opened up turbo boost in SP and then started shifting cars around to account for the slippery slope that was created as a result.

^If he's a good driver the transition shouldn't be hard, seeing as how the RX8 is so easy to drive fast and it's very forgiving...My very first time on Hoosiers and first time ever driving a FWD SMF Civic I took FTD right ahead of Jinx Jordan...
