225 Hoosiers > 245 Kumhos
at least for launching purposes :P

ATTENTION: please don't compare these 60 ft times with times NOT from the event. This was NOT at a drag strip, and with mobile timing equip, it was uphill slightly, etc etc. So these results are worthless for comparing outside of the event.
Looks like the tiny Hoosiers still put power down better, with Mark having the fastest 60 ft times of all the RX8s (one 2.2 and several low 2.3s). I (in the same car) had the next fastest times which were in the 2.3s, but Mark clearly got the car to go faster becuase I was still struggling to launch the car consistently throughout the event. Too much wheelspin for several of the launches. Mark's reaction times were also best in class (look at all those .5xx times hehe). The 60 ft times on sunday were worse prolly cuz of all the rubber in the launch area combined with the cold morning.
I'm so glad I never had to line up against Bryan H!!!
Thanks again for letting me co-drive with you Mark!

Still haven't located a rotary compression tester yet, But I gave the engine a seafoam enima Friday night and it's still pulling lower than expected vacuum at idle; only 15 in/hg, so I'm pretty sure a rebuild or replacement is in the near future.
I also made a swaybar, alignment, and shock changes to the car since El Toro. It feels so much better now. Had a local event on Sunday, but I came down with a cold Friday night, coupled with cold/windy local weather and some other things that needed to get done I decided not to attend.
Usually a MR2T will pull 1.9 sec 60 ft times so I feel much better now comparing my time to Bryan's. The times in general seemed off compared to past events for everyone in attendance.

Let it be known I'm no drag racer. There may have been more time in the BS MR2 on launches. Paul Brown is a good benchmark in his NA MR2. He didn't seem too far off his usual 60ft pace, and tended to best my El Toro times to boot.
