SCCA SD Tour - Any 8ers want a co-driver?
I'm heading out to SD for the SD Tour in March and my ride went and found a co-driver for the year... bumping me out of the seat (DSP BMW). Can't blame him really... tires is tires. He said I could use the car in SM if I wanted... but where's the fun in that?
Anyhoo, if there's someone out there that wouldn't mind having a co-driver in their 8 for the SD tour for BS, let me know. If not, I'll still run the BMW in SM, so I'll still have a ride when I get out there.

Have you considered posting your request to SCCA Forums and/or S2000 International? The latter's grown to encompass many non-S2000 drivers, not that getting a ride in an S2000 would be a bad thing.

I'm just getting started with the RX8. I've got two Hoosiers in the garage, two more on the way plus a set of stock wheels off ebay.

Looks like I found a ride. :D
Not sure what car it will be in, though...
Probably a 1988 BMW 325is which is would be bone stock if it didn't have polyurethane bushings, so STX.
Dark horse possibliity is a CTS-V in AS...with the OEM run flats. :o
My codriver is a trackday junkie that has never done an autocross, never seen an autocross but thinks that autocross driving requires no skill and autocross drivers are unable to become skilled because ~1 minute of seat time at a time isn't long enough to develop skills. I figure that I probably have no shot of better than midpack in either class, but the point is to teach this guy a lesson.
(I just better not lose to him )

Ok, online registration's been open for several days now, yet there isn't a single RX-8 registered to run in the open class. Am I going to have to start making fun of you guys? Are you going to just let us German car drivers run away with B Stock this year without even putting up a fight?!? :D

Steve,
Atlanta Pro is the 1st East coast event. We live on the right side of the county since Bananananie went and got herself a Honduh. She was our only hope for a well driven west coast 8. :D
