Then I could hit the editor of SportsCar, Richard S James, house with a rock from my driveway. I will have to see if I can work in a cover shot.

I've solved that problem. I have found a way to have energy 'beamed' to the car from a satellite out in space with a massive solar array so as to not use up natural resources from the planet. Nicely clean & efficient. All the tracking can be done by my PocketPC.

Saw this on SCCA forums:
Hey all
If you are planning to change classes when you get to Nationals and are 100% sure about it could you please send me an e-mail and let me know about it now.
We've had more cancellations and changes this year than in the past due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina. It would be very helpful for me if I don't have to make as many changes once we get to Nationals. It will probably help you get the worker assignment that you want as well.
Also, I am in need of Waiver/Gate workers Tues through Friday at various times. There is also a need for workers to cover the gate during lunch time Saturday of the ProSolo and for the ProSolo Challenge rounds on Sunday.
I'm leaving for Topeka Thursday, so if you have any requests or changes please e-mail me by Wed night.
Send e-mail to rx7cat@aol.com
Thanks!

Looks like the dynasty is indeed in the making. T1-9 out of 32 entrants are all RX8s except for T5 by 968 on day 1. Congrats on everyone's success and keep up the pressure on the non-RX8 that got lost in the crowd =) Result is here: http://www.scca.org/Event/Result.asp?Ref2=67

Yesterday's course favored the RX-8 IMO. It started with a slalom, but from there on out it was big, sweeping corners. All the RX-8 setups (big front bar, small front bar, etc) had advantages. Today's course is much more technical, a bunch of slower sections, and should be a little more interesting. Expect Carter to move up.
The competition out here is . These guys can drive.
John V - with a death grip on that last trophy spot...

Big congrats to Isley, Mr 2005 National Champ of BS. His 1st run was the mark that only one driver bested it clean (GH Sharp in Team RX8s car). Well deserved for drivng very well both days. It was a great pleasure running against this bunch and it shows I have just a tad more work to do.
Thanks for the 2005 memories!
