SCCA Solo II class question

SCCA Solo II class question
Can you change the diff ratio and still be classified as Street Prepared?
I know that you can add a limited slip differential to a car that doesn't already have one but can you change rear end ratio and still be Street Prepared or would that bump you to Street Modified?
I read the rules but had trouble interpreting them and my lack of engineering knowledge of how the diff works probably contributed to this. Any help would be most appreciated.
P.S. This is not for an RX-8 but for another car.

You can't just change the gearing in Street Prepared. You can change the dif (and thus the gearing) to one that was available on a car listed on the same line.

So you can swap out your torsen for a salisbury style but you can't throw in gears unless a different ratio was available from another car on the same line.
