EL TORO Pro
So, who's in for a Friday afternoon/evening bbq? I'll find out today from Ken M. whether or not propane bbq's are allowed on site.
Also, another interesting entry today...class is now up to 11, with lots of National champs and Pro veterans. I think it will be tougher than the Tour

I am 99% sure Anna will change to L1 with the rest of the girls so that will leave us with 10.
I might be up for something on Fri, depends on if Jennifer has to go to Phx tomorrow for work. I also have Huffman coming over at some point on Fri to mount tires for his Lotus. I live close by, so I may come out early to get my paddock spot then come back again later to register and tech.

Holy moly, Isley is just annihilating everyone in all classes! Munchof is making a respectable showing in SS, too. Not sure what happened to Carter Thompson and see that Sipe is hitting cones left and right again. Did it rain?

Isley wins again and CS Buetzer and Diez beat him...but his Saturday time stood...sandbagging? ; )

Heitkotter proved that the MR2 Turbo can hang...sort of. Looked like another course where lots of folks were hitting cones.

At 3 seconds apart what the hell was wrong missing a wheel?

Did El Toro take after any SD elements?
We should really get a west coast TeamWTF going, for racing footage and talking-point. I have no doubt that the course was tough. As for Polak, definitely start attending the National events so you get a real sense of true competition.

yeah, I suppose that means Polak would be at least another 3 seconds behind me ... :
on raw time I was one of the faster drivers to start, just dirty/spinning out, never could get back to that point again, we were on 285 Kumhos which was a first for me so I was floundering in second thoughts and self guessing, Carter stayed on them and I changed back to 245s on Sunday AM
when I post the pic of the problem you can be the judge of what it would do to the car on a course with heavy transitions

I'm registered for the National Event at Devens, MA; and waitlisted for the ProSolo in Washington, DC.
I would try make Finger Lakes but I'll be in Europe during that.

Mark Sipe (whoever that is) could start up a West Coast Team WTF?! all by himself it appears. I mean that in the best possible way!

Also, Ryan Buetzer is an alien. He is amazing...Kevin was working hard and flyine to hang with him
BS was kind of interesting. Jason was just awesome, smooth and fast as all heck. Matthew would have been very close, but for the cones....then there was a pretty big gap back to Joe and Carter. My scratch times would have been with the those guys, but I hit tons of cones, red lighted etc., of course, the bottom line is I drove like crxp and just never got to the point where I was sure what line to take or where I really needed to be...kind of reacting to the course more than anticipating where I wanted to go next.
Still, the weekend was good...all except the part when I was sitting in the car with a helmet on.

Was also glad it was the traditional format PS, almost like a continuation of last year's events, except no series points. However, I thought I heard the announcer comment on how they calculated the dial-in for the Challenge rounds, which sounded different - but only half paid attention since we were packing up at that point.

It took me awhile to get up to speed in the Elise, but I laid down respectable times on Sunday... even though I threw them away by being retarded at the lights. As usual with high-grip, transition heavy courses it took some real ***** to be fast. From my experience, Jason is really good at attacking this type of course.
