Solo2 School Event, May8/9

Just finished my second autox school and it was fun!
I had a different instructor this time and I learned alot more and its great to have two other friends along! (TT 225hp and VW GTI 1.8T)
First school I had no mods, this time, I have new wheels (I think my 19s actually slowed me a bit!), wider tires, tein s-tech springs and BB exhaust.

Here are two pics, taken by Charles Hall (thanx charles!)
Will have more pics later.

Look at the roll even with tein springs! (although inside the car, it doesnt feel like that much roll). Time to save up for coilovers and sway bars.

Those wheels (volks?) look great. That is the best looking color/wheel combo I have seen yet. Very nice.

Ok I just read your sig. The TE37's look great.

I love those wheels. It makes the car look agressive as hell. Mean almost. If I get an 8 here in the next few months I hope you dont mind If I scam your look. (just the wheels) Its still a toss up between the 8 and an evo, so whatever mood I am in that day will pretty much be the factor as to which one I pick. Thanks for posting the pics.

It's really a toss up between the 8's. It will be one of the two, I just dont know which one. I am graduating from law school this friday, so hopefully a job will come along shortly. I was leaning toward the evo, just because of the sheer performance of the thing, but I have always liked the way the rx8 looked. I just thought the rx8 was a little too toned down for my taste. (just my opinion:D ) But the way you have your car set up, I can see myself doing that. Your car looks like it has an attitude problem, and I like that.:D

Mikeb and AlexCisneros, I actually answered already in another thread, but here it goes again!
I got them from vivid, quite a while ago, forgot how much. I think it was around ~$500 shipped.
The install, wasnt that hard and wasnt as easy as I thought. U had to take off the door panels, since the wirings were behind the door panel. Once taken off, everything was very straight forward.

Beautiful car!!! Very good choice for the wheels :-)
Too much roll, you need for new sway bars! But anyway, the springs seem to be too "smooth".
What do you think of your new springs? Is the rebound still managed by the stock dampers? May be you should try to change the suspensions to lower again the car and reduce roll using harder springs and dampers?
What are the size of your tyres now?

A picture of my last track day:
Sorry, it's not yet a RX8 but it's in my planning to put a Rotary engine there

Thanx NotTwinTurboYet! Nice car you got there.
Yes. the car does seem to roll alot after seeing the pics, but it doesnt feel like that inside the car. Anyways, yes, I think the springs are too soft for racing, they are very nice for daily drive but not for spirited runs. I still only have stock shocks. Hopefully I can get some coilovers by the end of the year. And hopefully sway bars very soon.

It's because your seats are very good!

Keep us updated, I'm very interested to know the results of these next modifications.
