I'll try to get a better pic up of the 255 RS-3's tire stack height. I was very busy at my first event weekend trying to get the car dialed-in and working to my liking.

Hopefully this stack height pic has less "fluff". Put a flat wooden board across the top of the stack and used that as my straight edge. Lined everything up as well as I could - looks like the stack height is 41 1/4":
Also took a pic of the wheel stamp on the back to show that these 255/40/17 RS-3's aren't mounted on a wider wheel (than a 9.0"):

Just a recommendation from someone who's been down that path, just get the long ones. They make them that way for a reason, if you decide you want to try spacing them further out, you'll be stuck buying another set. (as I did this season)

Cmon man, that is childs play. Just take the seat out and look at the plug. It's a two wire plug with female slip terminals. With the battery disconnected for several minutes to let the airbag system discharge it's electrical energy take a piec of wire and stick it in fully to one of the plug female terminals to see how deep it is. Use this as a guide tocenter the resistor between the two plug terminals, then make mating bends in the resistor wire like the ends go down into the plug terminals, and then using thetest wire depth use that length as where to loop the far ends of the resistor wire back on a tight 180 turn. These two 180 turn points are what you jam down into the two female terminals in the plug. If you did it right those ends are in the plug terminals and the resistor is sitting flush on the plug connection face end. Take some electrical tape and tape the resistor firmly to the plug and you're done. Think of it as a square U kind of like the top end of a football goal post that has sharp 90 mends rather than a long sweep, the resistor body is in the horizontal crossover between the uprights and the top vertical ends of the uprights have the tight 180 bends that fit into the terminal plugs.

That's for Sunday (we use a rolling webpage, so that site is going to be for another event in a couple weeks). NWR created a new run group for this year, Non-Stock 5 which contains just STX and STU. Kind of a bummer, Mike and I are 2 of the 3 2WD cars in a run group of 16 and it's supposed to rain in the morning (when we're running).

Good looking car Mark.
Not a big fan of white cars, but the 8 is an excellent example of where it does a good job of showing the body lines.
I do like the aero components and it looks like they stand up well to coneage

Man, a combination of being one of the few competitors on newish tires with full tread and a very bizarre element at the turn around on the runway lead towards a much better finish than I expected. I had to leave before the results were officialized, but if my time held for the last few competitors I took 5th or 6th in NS5, which contained STX and STU. With only 1 other 2WD racing (Arrrrx-8) things were looking pretty bleak going into the first run, however my 3rd and final run knocked a full 2 seconds of my 2nd run because I copied Karl Coleman's line through the finish and handled the taxiway better
