well I even ran a cone filter in that position rather than a straight cylinder filter like yours and decided it was too restrictive there WRT peak air flow demand. Once the bumper and top plate are in place it is a highly pinched off area. The air flow needs to come in from each end, which is being blocked by both the top and tube entry/bottom plates on the filter. Not ideal IMO.

Team, did you actually notice a loss of power due to the confined location of the filter? I thought about this, but used the everybody-else-does-it logic to justify it to myself...

Another concern I have about this setup (which I also use) is the filter getting wet from rainfall. If you open the hood after the car has been sitting in the rain, you can see water accumulated on the plastic shield which is directly on top of the filter. It seems likely that some of that water makes it's way onto the filter as well.
I'm not worried about water getting into the intake, but rather how well a (partially) soaked filter flows & filters.

'm bout to do y next set of suspension mods, and I was wondering is it worth getting polyurethane bushings, and if so which bushings do I need exactly there are so many what main links should I replace all of them or just a few? Any one good with suspension and set-up I currently have stance GR+ and they go really low, I was going to go a little lower but get polyurethane bushings first I'm running 1.8- negative camber up front and 2.1 in the rear car handles grrreat!(not a typo.) and does anyone know of some good quality rear links JIC cost to much and not sure about megan racings quality.

I will probably just go with the Front Lower Control Arm Delrin for increased Negative camber but leave the rest OE.

Anybody make the rear toe arm bushing in delrin? I see the Megan arms for about $200, Mazdatrix sells the complete rear kit with heim joints for $1500 and whitened sells the bushing but for $35 I'm thinking there not delrin.
