you should look into NASA. I know they have a Florida region. I have attended two of their events for the SE region, and it is a lot of fun, and you can learn a lot. You could always come up to one in the SE region, we usually have a good turnout, we had 8 RX-8's at Road Altanta a couple weeks ago.
NASA Home Page
Also try this site:
Track Events
It has a lot of events listed all over the country, and can be searched by region.
Good luck.

The Pyramid of Speed
It's definitely time to move up from autocrossing. Find out where you'll be on the "Pyramid of Speed". Penned by Doug Hayashi, who also has "copyrighted" the term "go-fast crack-pipe" ...which is what you'll become addicted to once you've gone to a track day.
