They are not, wrong offset and 18X8.5 rears. I am sure he just wanted to get some seat time and has not picked up light RX8 wheels yet.

I would also guess by the pic no shocks yet.

Evidently, "picking up" light RX8 wheels requires more energy these days (like, a couple of pounds more exertion, per corner)...and, the OZ's are ugly

so will light wheels break easier than heavy ones? I saw a set of oz's get pretty badly broken at the track...

What's the consensus on the DA vs. SA Koni? Seems like the fastest cars have been on the SA's, or am I missing something?

(he says, with a new set of SA's still in the box in the garage)

Twice as many things to screw up if you don't know what you are doing. Kind of like what you did to your Z06.

Ouch...true, but "ouch"

I heard you revalved your shocks...did you go to DA's? Or, are you going to K.I.S.S?

Missing GH Sharp in TeamRX8's car last year?

Only a couple of hacks in the other car with DA Yellows last year and this year.

You heard wrong... Off the shelf 100% stock Konis on my car. I thought about different shocks last year, or a revalve, but the car does not really have any bad habits so I think all I would have done was spent money.

I am sure with time and testing you could make the car faster with some doubles.

how did the 285 A6 experiment go? I'm loving the 285 V710's...but I have a wider rim to mount mine on.

Those 285's look positively huge on the RX8!

While, kind of, on the subject of shocks...I did experience the bottoming out effect of the stock shocks this weekend. The Fresno chapter of SCCA ran an "enduro" at Atwater, 5 laps around a course which allowed me to get pretty deep into 3rd gear and had a couple of 3rd gear sweepers which required hard braking followed by quick turn in to high g steady state cornering, which resulted in really high loading of the outside front...and big time shock bottoming, with attention getting results...

The Konis are going on sooner, rather than later.

Or you could just put on a RB front sway for awhile to stiffen up the front. I'm still trying to find a suc...I mean successful person to purchase mine. Wanna bite.

I thought it totally sucked, regretted running my last B Stock Pro Solo points event at Packwood using them, never could get the car to perform anywhere near as well as what the car does on 245 V710s, loose in slaloms and pushed in sweepers , all IMHO ...
