Best way to get those black spots off the wheels.
Hey all!
I have a couple of black specs on my wheels, like a large 'dot' of brake dust build up & grime. So I scrubbed & scrubbed. I even ran a claybar over then, which did not get them off. I have tried brake dust remover, and that didn't work.
My last resort, barring a good suggestion here, is to use some alcohol (used to remove the sticky stuff from the remnance of stickers) on them & hope it doesnt screw up the powder coat.
Any suggestions appreciated

I detailed cars for over 10 years and the best way to get rid of any brake dust stains or other substances is with Turtle Wax crome polish. It works every time with minimal elbo grease. Just put some on a rag or soft toothbrush and rub it until it comes off. Take off the excess with a soft rag.
