Big big scratch
Was unlucky this weekend. Tight parkingspace, and I back up so slowly that I couldn't hear it touch, only watch the sidemarker for position so not rocket science, but still. Must have glimpsed for a second.
Seeing as it's to the metal at some spots, is there any point in doing anything myself or should I just take it to a paint shop? Don't have any equipment, always did my car care by hand.

I guess I just hope I don't need a new bumper/fender, that would be REALLY expensive.

you might be able to buff most of that out....looks mostly like a paint transfer
if you don't have a rotary buffer, a heavy duty compound and a rag will work
if the damage is not too bad, just touch up the bare spots
if it were me however, I would get it repainted...I can't stand not having my 8 in tip top shape

Yeah, I think they've gone a bit mad. The car is almost mint paintwise, so I probably have to get it painted. I've seen amazing things done by people, but they are probably harder to find than paint shops
