Damn, scratch!

Damn, while I was washing my car today, I noticed a scratch on the right side. It's about an inch long. It looks like it's just the clear coat. Time for the Z-5! Hope that will be enough.

I hear ya.

I did it myself though. I got home from snowboarding (took the 4 Runner, not the 8) and while putting my gear away in the garage put a dime size scratch on my drivers side door with the tail of my board.

I was so pissed at myself! Im always so careful around my car.

I had great results with three coats of a ZFX/Z5 mix on concealing fine scratches, but not sure how deep yours is...worth a Z5 shot tho.

Okay, the Z-5 didn't work. I put 3 coats on, and I can still see it. It's a very fine scratch on the passenger side rear quarter. Probably only the most **** retentive person would notice it or care, but I still want to get rid of it or hide it. Any suggestions? I went to Autopia, and it looks like the product they're selling requires a buffing machine. Okay, I'm not that ****. Is there a product that will safely remove or hide a fine scratch by hand? Does anyone have experience with Einszett Paint Polish?

I've had good luck with Meguiers Scratch-X for shallow scratches.
