Dealer put spots on my car!

Took my car in for service, left it over night, picked it up around 1pm the next day. I drive about 2 miles and stop at the store. I close my door and instantly see this "palm of hand" sized smudge on my hood. I look closer and realize there is a bunch of smaller spots all across the top of the hood. (probably 25-30 total) I'm thinking "what the hell man! WTF did they spill on my hood?"I shop, leave the store and head home. I unload the food and head back outside. Grab a damp microfiber cloth and attempt to wipe it off. No matter how hard I scrub, I can still see the spots. All of them. The next morning I give the car a good wash taking extra time in that area. Pull it in the garage to dry...... still spots. Very similar to water spots, but will not disappear with my water spot remover. (that works perfect on actual water spots)

Now before everyone here says quit blaming the dealer for everything..... I know those spots were not there prior to the dealer having it. I've only had this car for 6 months and I'm still in that "look it over every hour and wash it twice a week" phase. I would know if they were there. Next, after the first attempt to clean them off, they were much better than when I first discovered them. Whatever chemical caused them was still on the hood. I wiped it off.

Now I don't want to get into all the details of what happened at the dealer, but lets just say it's a small remote possibility that these spots could have been malicious in nature. I honestly DO doubt that, but there was motive. Regardless if on purpose or on accident.... it's now been 2 days since I picked up my car and I can't get rid of these spots on my hood. And please don't say, "take it back to the dealer and b!*ch!" because you and I both know they're going to deny everything and not do s#!t.

Hard to say without pics or seeing in person. You think it's deep? A polishing compound like Poor Boy's SSR 2.5 with a cutting pad should rid those spots.

That should work unless the spots were caused by something like brake fluid in which case you can't get rid of them without going down to the substrate.
