Personally I would leave the badge in the front on..might look a little bland without anything on. I wonder if the back badges simply use double sided tape or actually holes/studs? If it's just tape a good 1 foot of fishing line and a hair dryer should do the trick. Keep us posted!

The day we bought our first 8, I noticed that they had put a chrome dealer emblem on the back. I stated that I wanted to take it off and asked how, the sales staff stated that rubing alchol would break down the glue and would not hurt the paint. Has anyone thought to try this?

So NO issue with rubbing alchol...
Well I want to do this... but I do not want to damage paint. Will look for a spot to test and then report back if all works.
Thanks

Why you people want to debadge the car?
Not good enough for you? Or do you like people asking you what kind of car is that?
I see it all the time on the 220Ci Bmw with m3 wheels & bodykit. Debadged so people think its a M3.
leave the car as is.. the rx8 should be something proud of not ripped off.
Just my two cents of course![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I'd like to change the Mazda emblems to the Efini emblems, I wonder if they'll fit the RX-8 or if they only fit on the RX-7, anyone know? If not I'd definately go for the debadged look, makes it look a lot cleaner.

I've gotten a couple estimates, still seems pretty steep just to fill the holes and repaint the bumper and trunk. Got quoted $750, $800 and $1200. If I could find somebody that will do a professional job for $500, I would. Anybody get good quotes within the SF Bay Area?
