Just had my 2001.5 Passat detailed and while he was at it, had him shine the 8 and must say that the Passat looks better than new and the shine on my silver 8 is killer as well. Will have him back to do a complete detail on the 8 in a few months.
Highly recomended if you live in the greater Long Beach, California area.
$150 which included clay bar, the buff with a coating that is not a wax, but adheres to the paint and lasts for 6 months with a mirror glazed finish, power wash engine and detail (looks better than new), clean the interior and treat all the leather and vinyl, ditto the exterior, etc. The guy does auto show cars (the custom stuff), is only mobile, and takes his time (was here for a good 5 hours).

Nice guy too and very honest about what he does and what to expect.
