Do you clean every bit of your car

I probably am a little more **** then some, maybe not as much as others but i got sick of cleaning the car and looking around the windshield and rear window trim and seeing that fine line of dirt . Once you pay attention it sticks out like a sore thumb, so i took a qtip and its now part of my cleaning ritual. The dressing you like to use on exterior trim is put on the qtip and run completely through the trim around the windows. Not a earthshattering revelation by any means but it makes it look alot better.

Are you talking about the rubber lining around the glass? If so, the only thing I would add is to detail that part before you wax the car (same thing goes for the rest of the exterior black trim) so that if you accidentally get wax on the rubber, it's much easier to clean off. Lately, I haven't had the patience to be as particular with my cleaning, so good job with getting into the little nooks and crannies with such minute detail!! Gotta love the Q-Tips...

Yes, the rubber. No problem with wax. NXT does not dry to a white haze.

Not meaning to argue over this point (again), but yes it does. Just about every synthetic wax dries to a haze. Unless you have a miracle bottle, if you leave the wax on any black trim long enough (inadvertantly or otherwise), it will chalk up. I've used NXT for almost a year now. Will post pictures later to prove.

Ok, if you leave it on there long enough I suppose it would but everytime i have waxed my car i have not wiped it off until the entire car was covered and it was a haze but not a chalky white like the rest. I suppose if you leave it on there too long but i wouldn't have a reason to want to do that anyway. I do the wax last anyway.

Point taken.

The only reason I am able to speak to its chalking up is because I somehow always miss a spot of wax and it ends up rearing its ugly (white) head days later, or else I get it on the black parts, fail to wipe it off adequately, and it shows up and is difficult to take off. Obviously, we can attribute that to my lack of attention to detail in my detailing job
