Does this sound ok?

I want to wash my car and get a nice Finish but dont want to spend all day doing it since I wash my car often. How would this work?

*Wash w/ Meguiars NXT car soap
*Use Meguiars Clay Bar
*Wash again w/ NXT
*Spray w/ Meguiars Quick Detailer (WOULD THIS STEP BE NECESSARY?????)
*Then Wax rims and Car w/ NXT Paste Wax?

Lemme know PLEASE, I am no expert on car cleaning

Also I havent used buckets in a long time and am scared to. I hear a lot of people using 2 at the same time. 1 for soap and one for rinsing the crud off. Would this be ok to keep the car from getting scratched or is there a better solution???

Wash

Wash the rims first and exhaust area.

Empty that wash water and rinse bucket.

Wash the car top to bottom. Wash down both sides to about where the door ends.

Ok now you got the top, hood , front and rear clean. How dirty is the was water?
If it is very dirty change it.
Then wash then remaining sides. At any time if the was water gets very dirty change it!

To dry use a leaf blower if you can or and buy a rag a Walmart called the absorber. It will keep from leaving water spots.

Use the clay bar.

Then wash or detail , I would not do both.

Then Wax rims and Car w/ NXT Paste Wax Wax car first and buff with a use 2 seperate cloths for the rims.

The rims can get nasty. The NXT is a good choice.

My 2 cent.....

Forgot, use seperate wash cloths for rims and car! At the end you can was them in the washing machine. A washing mitt is best but you can use 100% terry cloth towels also.

Sounds like a comprehensive solution Mindtrip...but then again I'm a Zaino junkie and for a total wash/clay/wash/polishx3 effort it's almost a full day affair Not sure about your bucket conumdrum tho...if using a hose with a light spray of clean water then only need one bucket for the soap and then the hose for rinsing.
