I spilled gasoline in my old car and it is killing me. Anyone know how to get the smell out?

gas smell

Hey there,

Have you ever tried a living air, removes almost all odors known to man. It usually takes one full day to do so.

Gas Smell

Hey

Living Air is a technology that Destroys mold bacteria and smells from cars, homes, boats , you name it, to give you a clean environment that you once had. It is a machine that you place in the polluted area for about 1 day or so, and it attacks the source of the problem!
There not cheap, but they are worth every penny, so many applications can be used for it.

yeah, it plugs in ,the one I mentioned is particularly made just for automobiles. It even has a 12 volt adapter outlet in the car, sorry no pics though. Dimensions are small too, mine keeps all those stale odors away too

The Living Air products are ozone generators - supposed to remove odors, leaving a fresh smell, just like after a lightning storm (which produces ozone). I don't think they sell under the name Living Air anymore. Didn't they switch to Alpine Air for a while, and then after the 20/20 exposee they switched to EcoQuest? That company changes their name so often it makes me hesitant to buy anything from them. That being said, my parents have one, and it seems to keep the house smelling OK (I think they keep theirs turned up too high, though - the ozone smell is too apparent).

The machine's they have are called a Living Air, the company is called Ecoquest, thats the retail part of the company, Alpine which is the former name is still with them, but this part of the company is dedicated to research and development of technologies. Although ozone is part of the products features , ozone accounts for only 20 pecent of the machine's functions ,the other 80 percent is the powerful ionization that draws the pollutant out of the fabric etc. I am not sure what your talking about in regards to the 20/20 show but i do know the EPA finally recognized the products merits, and now every unit has an EPA sticker samcked on the back of it. In fact Grocery stores are even using massive ozone generators to keep there fruits and veggies lasting much longer, theres no byproduct of ozone its simply 3 molecules of oxygen, infact , it breaks down after 25 minutes, so its constantly being renewed in the atmosphere. Ozone is to the earth what whiteblood cells is to the body, without it we all would die. In the future you will hear much more positive things about ozone or otherwise known as O3. Hoped this cleared some things up a little. FYI during 9-11 the Pentagon used the technolgy to clear up there smokey conditions and repurify their indoor air, N.Y.C also recieved like 200 units to do the same , They were extemely grateful for this...

Buy the odor gun. You can get it at Pep Boys etc. Get the regular one. Took out various smells from my car.

It's $4.95 vs $299 for air

And if you still want an ozone generator, I'm pretty sure you can pick up a photocopier for less than $300.

Cool

If you are intent on an Ozone producer for your car, do a search for XJ-2000 on Ebay. They come with a auto/cig lighter adapter.
They work as well as any other. And they only run about 39.00 shipped. I have two of them (neither is in the car). But they do work.
