GOOSE POOP... I'm serious!

I have an old problem with a different car now:

There is a pond 1/8 mi from my home, Wild Geese have been regulars for years there.
My previous cars always seemed to be on the flight path, but the spinach-looking poop just rinsed off.

Tuesday morning just after I pulled my car out for a wipe down, my 8 got bombed.
To make a long story short, they shat on my Brilliant Black.

The "grit" has scratched the paint even though it was rinsed off.
Now I see etching in the clearcoat.
That's some powerful ****!

I'll have to do a three-step polishing/re-waxing to fix it.
I'll probably use the Meguiar's Deep Crystal step 1 & 2, then Zymol.
Oh well, It should be fun, I like challenges.

Has anybody had this happen to a black car before?

It's okay, you can laugh...

I think Pelican crap is worse. I didn't find it till after the sun had fried it (about 10 3 inch circles of digested and liquified fish parts) to my hood. It took a lot of effort get rid of the etching. It went right through all my coats of Zaino.

Only visible when i have light directly on top of my car. So i just didnt care anymore. Well, hope you get yours fixed. Funny shiz, but serious problem.

wash it ASAP. how long has it been on? 5hr +? the acid has eteched the paint already as you said. the "grit" is from the sand that the bird eats (same with every bird) that helps them digest their food. they also poop out the sand too. next time when you see poop wash it asap and DO NOT rub because its basically rubbing sandpaper on your paint. instead dab the poop away with patience and let the quick detail spray or car wash soap absorb and loosen it up. remember DAB! DO NOT RUB!. youre going to have to polish it out and rewax it. if youre doing it by hand use Meguiars Scratch X. if youre doing it by machine use whatever you want. and yes you have to rewax/seal it.

It had to be 15 minutes or less...
Still had the consistency of gritty canned spinach-

i live around 2 miles from the hudson river and when it rains. we usually get seagulls flying around here looking for food. and DAYUM! those poops are large. they tend to go for the shiney cars too.
