Baller, Baller, Baller you haven't answered my questions. All you did was copy/paste from the Zymol site. Incedible as it may seem some peopl ecomplain about the cost of Zaino, there is no way they are spending $733.00 for Zymol! - LOL

This thread was not meant as a Zaino VS Zymol Bash. I just thought members would enjoy this wax choice available to them. I'm sure any wax or treatment look great and protects well. For my money it's Zymol cause the shine is incredible and I plan on waxing my 8 offten. For others Zaino might be better.

You are right of course, everyone has choices these days.
I still have some Zaino left that I may wax my Honda lawnmower with (not).

It's not a Zaino vs Zymol Bash, but Baller made statements that he can't back up other than so-and-so (experts) laugh when you mention Zaino.

By all means use Zymol if you like, I'll stick with Zaino, thank you.

Baller, is that the best reply you can come up with? I think I get the picture now, you cannot give one single factual reason based on your own experience to back up the negativity you have towards Zaino. Prove me wrong, please!

I have had over 40 new cars in my life, I have used every possible wax from the cheapest to the most expensive in the last 30 years. I have had the finest detailers from California work on my cars using every form of "snake oil" made. I have used it all.

Over the years I have made friends with many fine car collectors (including Leno) and have been to most of the worlds best shows.
I have always asked for the "secret" of the winning finish.

Now 6speed8 I don't know how many cars you have had or how many waxes you have tried, but I do know that it is a sickness I have, I strive for absolute perfection in my life. I have used Zaino and I just don't think it provides the best deep shine, I am sure it is a great finish for some people. The Baller demands perfection and I have been blessed in life to know the difference.
6speed8 I am sure you are a great person, but if you knew who I once was, perhaps I could change your mind.
6speed8 we do have something in common, our great love for cars. The RX-8 was my re-introduction to the sports car, I went over 13 years without one. This little car has put a smile on my face that won't go away. I have owned some of the best machines on the planet, but in an attempt to be humble let's just say I have been very lucky in life.
The Baller has a new sports car, (some of you know what kind) the RX-8 got me back and for that and the love of the automobile it remains a favorite for life with or without Zaino.

Kind regards,
The Baller

I use Zymol Carbon, It has as fine a shine or better than any other product I've tried. I'm sure Zaino is also a fine product, but the best thing about Zymol is the lack of residue on textured plastic trim pieces. Ireally hate that.

FYI, Zaino does not leave a residue on black trim pieces either.

I guess what it boils down to is: what do you want out of your paint protector, one day of super shine or a few weeks of looking good.
Nice Post, and proves what us Zaino-ites have been saying. I encourage all to read the test.

I'm sure Zaino looks great and may outlast natural waxes, but reading about the procedures turned me off. Too many different bottles of stuff, mix this with that, put Z-this on top of Z-that, wait and then spray it with Z-other. Repeat 5 times. I haven't used it but it just sounds a lot less enjoyable process than Zymol.

However, my wife's truck requires frequent washing due to harsh work environment and I've been thinking of trying out the Zaino on it because of the longevity claims. So far she's been using the wipe-and-dry stuff.

It (Zaino) does not last any longer.

Hey Baller have you used multiple coats of Zymol the good stuff that is not the cleaner wax and how does the shine look, any deeper or wet? I olny put one coat of the Japon on so far and it is truly amazing stuff and so easy to apply. I really like the depth of brilliance this wax provides and will be applying more soon. btw I'm thinking that 3 or 4 coats should look good and offer as much element protection as any product out there ,just with more brilliant shine and sparkle. I wonder how many coats the car show guys apply and if that would be overkill for the street?

Do you have proof? I find it EXTREMELY doubtful that ANY natural wax can outlast a synthetic.

Where do you get your (mis) information from, and please don't tell me "they" or Jay Leno.

Yes I have used many coats of Zymol and the results would make a Zaino user a convert. If you want the deep, wet look use one of the Zymol products. Leno once told me "using a synthetic wax is like taking a shower with a raincoat on"..

I love this stuff it is so easy to apply and buff out and looks killer and smells so good when your applying it. It also has high percentage of some very fine carnuba wax. The pre treatment HD cleanse was a bit of work but works great and look no swirls or scratching not a blem. I'm going to put another coat on soon for added protection.
Yes, I too have heard very good comments about JAPON car wax. I've looked at a lot of local stores but am unable to find it. Where can I purchase this from?

Thank You.
