Poor person here...can't afford Zaino. Used Zymol cleaner wax instead. Looks just as good I think. Got it described as an Rx8 shaped mirror on another forum. :D

Zaino will give it a great shine and provide very good protection.
But you can do very well with the products you already have. Use the AIO to clean the paint. Then, you may or may not want to use a polish. Then protect and shine with whatever Pinnacle wax you have (do you have Souveran?) or NXT.
I personally use Zaino for the durability it gives and it really makes the car glossy. But I top it with Souveran or S100 wax to give it a nice deep, rich wet look.
What color is your RX-8? S100 really brings out metallic, and Souveran is wonderful on red or black.

Shining now!
Went with Menzerna PO85RD to clean. And man did it clean. Did not want to put anything on top of it. Then 2 coats Men. FMJ ... Then 2 coats of Pinnacle Souveran .... Paid 49.95 at http://steeringwheel.com/waxes.html ..... Now she shines.

I'm definitely a Zaino convert. I live in a city where it rains every_single_day...probably the rainiest place in the entire U.S. I judge when it's time to wax again by whether or not water sheets off the car when moving at high speeds. With NXT freshly applied, it would seemingly last about two weeks at most, less if it rains heavily, before water starts sticking to the car again. I applied my first coat of Zaino about a month ago, and the car's been through a very rain heavy month. The water still sheets off like nothing to this day, so I'm very impressed. I bought Zaino for its durability rather than looks, and it definitely delivers.

ZAINO -
It's really the best, and it actually costs less than most other 'waxes' when you take longevity into account. Nothing makes silver have shine and depth like Zaino.

i don't have 8 hours to wash and wax my Velocity red like these other geeks.
Mequiars Nxt has continued to impress everyone who sees my car.
ALL the Mequiars products REALLY work! Quick and easy to use.
You want really quick, try Liquid Glass.

Zaino is the best, simply awesome shine! Follow the ultimate Zaino thread mentioned earlier. Be sure to claybar first before going through all the other steps.

Only the initial application (first time) requires alot of time, not just for Zaino, but for ALL 'waxes'. Regardless of what brand is used, the paint should be stripped of all wax and the claybarred, then washed again, and then apply the 'wax'. This is easily a several hour process no matter what brand you use.
IMO it makes mores sense to put on a 'wax' (like Zaino) that will last as long as possible so you don't have to go through this so often.
But in the end it really doesn't matter what you use, as long as you do 'wax' the car when it needs it to keep the paiint looking good.

Couple curiousity questions, if I may.
1.) How many coats of the polish (Z2 I beleive) are normally recommended?
2.) Under "normal" conditions, how often do you re-polish? ..and is it necessary to "strip down" with Dawn, do the clay thing, etc. each time?

2) Whenever I'm bored, or at least every 2 months.
As long as you have a coat of wax on the car and it's clean when you repolish you shouldn't have to strip.
If some of the wax starts coming off then you should re-dawn & clay(Like going 5-6 months without waxing).
