You're 21, female, graduate of A&M, and driving a manual RX8 in black. You are meticulous and you have very good taste, but you already knew that.
I think you may have all the style points you need. But if you insist, I will assist. Start by getting some RX8 bikini shorts with matching hot pants, both in black. Stop using Pantene and start using an organic shampoo without lauryl sulfate. Switch to Sebastian hair spray get some of that Vera **** Princess fragrance (because the bottle looks the most stylish, of course, duh). Trade in the A&M baseball cap for a Hustler cap in pink. Be seen eating at Ted Bell's of Beverly Hills in your pink Hustler cap in your bikini shorts in your black hot pants. Get a pimp. Join the Citizens Auxiliary Police.

I'm down for the bikini shorts but the pimp is a bit extreme. New rims are definitely gonna be one of my 1st moves. Would black ones look good? Idk. I'm a little lost. And how did Phil know about a&m?

Sarah,
I can tell you have good taste. Evidence is that you got black, which is arguably the most impressive color for the RX8 when seen shined and glossy on the road. I didn't get black because I'm older and I want to exude a more conservative image and because black gets dirty quick and you have to wash it a lot. More evidence is that you didn't get an aero package, which makes the car look like it has an overbite with a weak chin. Finally, you didn't get that hideous rear spoiler, which is too narrow and makes our car look even narrower when it's already kind of narrow looking from the rear.
So you passed all my tests for good taste, except for one. Why in the world would you ruin your car with black wheels? Very tacky. And don't even think about gun metal gray or gold or some other kind of dark "dirty" color to give it a rally car look. Just get a silver. Look at most Porsches on the street. The design of the wheel will give you the bling; you don't need gaudy color to add more bling. You're not a teenager anymore. You want to be a Bond girl, not a Fifty Cent ho. I mean, you don't go around in the middle of the Texas summer wearing a bubble jacket with a fleecy hood, right?
One style I really like is the Work Emotion CR Kai. Search the Work website. Also check out this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/calling-all-work-wheel-owners-114299/. There are plenty of pics of those Work wheels and other wheels you might like.
Once you get your car and yourself put together, make sure to be seen at Ted Bell's of Beverly Hills. Let me know and I'll get you a VIP reservation.

Thanks Phil! Well I only mentioned black rims cuz my bro said so and his opinion was the only 1 I had asked before this. I figured he had some taste cuz he's got a black Chrysler 300, but he's got chrome so I wondered why he said black for me. Idk.
And no fleece or whatever for me! Lol! Jean skirt, aggie jersey or shirt and heels. Or jeans and shirt. Simple yet classy. Definitely not a 50 cent ho!

Damn, a chick wit an 8 MT this doesnt come often. I'm a sucka for girls wit lip piercing. My advice is gettin some coilover kit with a nice set wheels prefferably Rays, 5zigen somethin from japan. It mathces where the car was made. If u got the Gt model u should be fine, if u dont jus get some nice lips and u'll be turning heads in no time. Good Luck!!

I would argue that Black is also probably the worst color choice for Texas. I am from Louisiana and thought the heat was bad enough until I moved here. Black tends to soak up heat more than other colors, and I for one after living through summer 06 would not touch a black car if it was given to me. While perhaps more of a functional issue here than a styling issue, that not being the case elsewhere I still think the grey's are a better look without that considering. However looking at the recent polling done in the general section of this forum we would both appear to be wrong since red is getting the most votes.
Secondly not having the spoiler makes the car look incomplete, like its missing something in the rear. It adds to the more aggressive styling of the car while a rear without one looks blank. I would make the same arguement for the 3. The 6 however would look stupid with one since the styling of the car doesnt match a sporty feel which makes sense because its a family sedan.
