maguire NXT Wax (not on a RX8)

Heard alot of the maguire NXT wax on this forum so I figured it would give it a shot since Canadian tire has it onsale 30% off. but I already waxed the RX8 with Turtle Wax ice couple days ago so I have to do it on the RX330.. here is the result. Sorry for my poor Camera skill ( if any)

Before:

After:

Impression: I think it does a pretty good job consider the car had never been wax'd . Removed alot of fine scratches ( which the turtle wax ICE doesnt ) andconsider the amount of time it took ( ~ 1 hour) Im quite satisfy. It sooooooooo much more easier to wipe off than the turle wax ICE. Still prefer the ICE though, probably cuz its even easier and can go on plastic.

And just for the sake of being a RX8 forum, here's the 8 two days after turtle wax ICE.

Looks nice. you still gotta work on the polishing though. waxes and sealants will not remove scratchs.. it only covers them up for a short period of time.

Got everything but the exhaust tips, and the tutle wax ice stuff is ok, but a good NXT waxing will outshine it any day of the week.

Used Zaino on my Firebird. Sold the bird and bought the 8. Used NXT on the 8 twice now.... hate it. It's not half the product Zaino is. They both looked outstanding when I was done.... but NXT has nothing on Zaino when it comes to durability. Seemed like 2 weeks after using NXT, my 8 looked like it needed wax again. Waxed it again. Looks great. And now I'm back to needing wax. I'm seriously taking NXT up on their "money back guarantee"

$120 is the entire car care kit. Including clay bar etc. And I believe I paid about $18 for my NXT paste.

Secondly, if you're going to cheap out.... then shouldn't you be driving a neon?:D

True. nxt is very thin, you must be consistent with it. Zaino is great as well, but a little harder to put on vs nxt.. I like both but in the end i'd still prefer nxt over zaino.

i honestly like waxing the car, so durability in over 2 weeks period doesn't matter for me. i wax my car every week. sometimes i will give it a layer of p21s over nxt and you can definitely see a difference.

and since you talk about durability, know that nxt doesn't completely focus on beading (which most wax durability is judged on), but rather to sheet water as well in an effort to dry less. this came from the meguiar owner himself in a how to video.
