$400 is about normal for instal for them. unless you really know how to do work on suspension. i suggest going back to the shop and they will do it right

1) why is this in the show and shine section?

2) $400 is about right for the damper install. This isn't a very hard install, just can be time consuming if it's the first time you're doing it.
I would recommend checking out the D.I.Y. subforum, I'm pretty sure there's instructions there on a few different suspension installs.
Hopefully those can help you out.

Why could you not remove the OEM springs? Why is this in the Show & Shine section?
Do you want advice on how to claybar the coilover?

There is a good DIY by Robin Yang. That is what I used to change my springs. He has good illustrations to make it dummy proof. If you google his name, you can find his website. His DIY made it so much easier for me. Or you can search under springs installed. There's a link to his website.

i dont find mine REALLY bouncy maybe only a little bit. did you put the springs on the right shocks meaning stiffer springs up front?

damn thats not right then. the stiffer springs should have gone up front. the only other thing i would say is to check and make sure that everything is tight and torqued down. did you buy the kit used or new?
