Never Wet
NeverWet Liquid Repelling Treatment
Saw this today. Although the product does seem to be out for some time I thought it'd be a great product to coat coilovers with to prevent rusting.
Thoughts ideas? Guinea pigs?
Just got a can at Home Depot for $19. Will try on my powertrix coilovers once I receive updated bushings.

I found that product a few weeks back, and poking around I found a youtube video of someone that was testing various liquids on it. The only liquid it didn't repel was gasoline, which cut right through it. It was the only petroleum product that he tested, but I expect most other petroleum liquids / substances would cut through it as well.
Offhand I doubt it would last long exposed to road elements. The first splash of rain usually means lots of road oils get thrown everywhere by the tires.
Just my 2 cents.

Good input. I'd like to try the grill. It does suck cleaning - unless you blow out the water with compressed air or a leaf blower.
Just worried about the haze it leaves as to what other people have shown.
I'll try it on my coilovers and see. I don't drive my car in winter anymore (unless my beater trunk takes a crap). But it does get exposed to rain once in a great while.
