New Zaino Z5 PRO

Just announced this morning, all new Z-5

http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

From Zaino:
Z-5 PRO delivers:
• Unbelievable levels of shine, gloss, depth, clarity, and reflectivity
• Enhanced swirl-hiding capabilities
• Unbeatable durability - lock in that show car shine for months
• Improved ease of use - wipe on, wipe off
• No dust, no staining, no streaking
• Greater value

I have two bottles of Z5, and a Z5 Pro. Honestly, the results look the same to me.

PS: This isn't new news

woops. Looks like I was thinking of Z2.

I have Z2 and Z2 Pro.

I don't bother with Z5 since my car has no swirl marks or scratches....

I bought the big zaino package when I first tried out Zaino, so I had one bottle of each. They appeared to have the same results, but since my car was brand new, and silver, I don't think I would have been able to tell even if it was significantly different...

Z2 (pro) and Z5 are for completely different jobs. Z2 is for a good, reflective finish while Z5 is made to hide imperfections (which it doesn't do a good job of).

Crap, I got Z-5 confused with Z-PC, lol. Nevermind what I said, but Z2 is the better polish for glossiness, Zaino even says so. I'd use Z-5 as a sealant.

If you bought Z5 in the past month or so and if the bottle has a white cap and the stuff itself is sort of purply, then that's Z-5 Pro. Sal was using up the last of his regular Z5 labels.

Purply? By comparison, is the old Z-5 creamy white?

I've read that the old stuff is described as yellowy-orange and doesn't smell as nice as the new stuff.

Here's a pic of the new Z5-Pro (not mine though):

When I applied 1 coat of Z5 to my new RX-8, it actually hid all the swirl marks that dealer was so kind to put on the car. However, they were pretty light swirl marks, pretty hard to see. However, I was quite happy with that result.

Hmm.. I might have to get Z5 and try that out... can you do Z5 and then Z2 on top of that for the shine?

Z5 Pro is supposedly is even clearer, such that you may not even need to finish with a coat of Z2 Pro. All Z5 Pro would be a little more depth, a little less reflection... or something like that, opinions I've gleaned from autopia.org.

Just bought some PRO this morning. Washed the car the othe day so maybe I'll do it next weekend when I wash it again. But I'll def have it shining for RotorFest. I'll use the Grand Finale Spray instead of the Z-6 :D Any trophy for cleanest car?
