i voted for 3 weeks but when it's dirty i wash it ,weather it's once a week or twice a week.last weekend i went to the n.c rally and wash my car in the rain then pulled it in the garage dried it and wax it. i waited till it was dark so my neighbors would not think i was an idiot.that's love for the 8.

I have to say the long-term average over many posts will certainly be 4 per month....once per weekend. I mean, we all work right? How the heck else can we buy this car :D Wish my grandmother left me with millions so I could wash my 8 everyday :p

This is a testament to how obsessive most people on this forum are about the car. :D It's okay, I'm one of them. The poll question is too vague: are we talking about a yearly average, or a summer average? My response would change depending on the season. For this reason, I think the question should be directed towards different groups of people. In my opinion, the two most important factors affecting the frequency of car washing are as follows:
Those who live in cold climates, say north of 39 degrees latitude for North America, vs. those who live in warm climates.
Those who are married or live with a significant other vs. those who are single.
If I was single and living in Florida, I could see myself washing the car at least once a week. However I am married and I live in Detroit, so that's just not going to happen. As it is now with my 2 washes per month or less, I still hear the wife crowing "you are obsessed with that car!", "I wish you'd spend half as much time paying attention to me as you do that car!", etc. I'm making it sound a lot worse than it is--I love being married. You just have to compromise on a lot of things to make it work.

Once a week for sure. Sometimes 2-3 times a day if it is raining and my wife doesn't want to take out our 03 Accord because she is embarresed to drive it????????????
Simple concept, when raining, take already dirty car out.
Also if the 8 is cleaned and shiny, she hasnt grasped the concept of avoiding the lane with a huge puddle in it.
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!
