Is it possible to prevent Swirl Marks
#26
Foreward and rearward on hood, roof, and trunk lid. Up and down on the sides of the car. If you see the "lines" left (straight swirl marks) they look "normal", because that's the way your mind thinks the lines should go. Like the wind. They will also be harder to see - you'd only see them from one angle, and they seem to "enhance" what you expect to see in a shine.
Also, as I said, never press hard on the paint. If you have to remove a spot, such as fly ca ca or hardened sap use your finger nail and water. I used to cringe and use solvent to get tar off, then discovered Z1 will work. When cleaning an area that nothing else will work on, I use a small soft cotton cloth or the Zaino applicator cloth covered sponge and Z1. That stuff is amazing at getting grunge off the paint without damaging it! I have lots of practise at this on my 93 RX-7!
