Simoniz paint protection claim
So when buying the car, they offer you all that garbage, gap insurance and whatnot... but I actually figured 300 or 400$ for the simoniz coating might not be a bad idea and went for it. Supposedly its protection/insurance for any damage to the interior from anything edible and same for the exterior paint from acid rain, love bugs, tree sap, etc... Being FL we have a ton of love bugs twice a year, and they did eat my old jeep, though it had a big flat front and a powerful V8 with which to ram the forsaken insects.
So i have a few odd splotches on the trunk that I can not clean off. One is orange and the other actually looks like a small blob of clearcoat was dripped on when they coated it. Very minor and unnoticeable against the sheer blinding hotness of my phantom blue paint, but I want to get the trunk debadged anyway, but since the dealership would refer me for any painting work to the shop I would want do the debadging, I was wondering if i could try making a claim against the simoniz plan for the spots then just have them not re-badge the trunk.
Does anyone have any experience with this thing? I just moved so only god might know where i put all the car paperwork when I bought it.

be carefull
be carefull and read the small print, you may want to go into a dealer and ask for information on the purchase maybe a brochure dont tell them you bought the package and check in the paperwork what exclusion and protection you have as the consumer first..once you gather info then make the move ..
