Swirls and clear coat scratches?
I'm just being ****, as you can only see the above mentioned things when looking at the car on a funny angle with the sun glaring down on it.
Anyway, I used meguires 3 step process and I can still see these things. I thought this would remove / prevent this from happening.
There is one rather long straight "scratch" on my hood, it's more like a clear coat "line" than a scratch. You can't see it unless you do the funky chicken when the sun is beading on the car.
I used terry cloth towels to polish / wax the car but it seems like these cloths are rather "Scratchy", if I took one and rubbed your arm as hard as you have to rub the car it would rub your skin off. Or at least feel like an indian rubber burn! :D
should I wash my cloths before using them? Maybe some nice fabric softner? Or is that bad?
They just seem like a rather rough towel, they are suppose to be 100% cotton they said Terry cloth on the package.

The best product I found for removing swirls is 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. It is not a wax, it simply prepares the pain for the wax. Your 3rd coat probably just filled the scratches and they will probably come back once the wax wears out.
