DEEDUBBS REVIEW:

Ok, my car is already smooth and silky (gets driven once or twice a week, always garaged). I wash and wax my car once a week, sometimes it gets waxed twice a week (cheap therapy). I'm a religious Meguiars tech wax user and have waxed my car over 100 times 112 to be exact so I know what a smooth RX8 feels like. So I hopped on the bandwagon today and tried the ice wax.

It was very easy to apply the wax throughout the car, that took only about 15 mins. I let it sit for about 15 mins then began to buff it off. It's definetly easier to buff off opposed to the tech wax I was previously using.

My only gripe:
Sort of hard to see where the wax is applied so I went over every inch of the body twice. Other than that it came out pretty good.

A good tip:
After I was done waxing I felt on the waxed body parts. It actually seemed rough at first. Then I forgot I had that oily residue all over my hands. After washing my hands I felt on the body again and it felt very smooth. So don't forget to wash your hands after your done waxing! haha. This feels more like a sealer than wax.

15 minutes?? You got special powers or something???
Just read the first page where some say they have to wait about 45 minutes to an hour.

And does this stuff actually dry to a haze like most other waxes?

mmmmmm, sun-baked rx8 sounds yummy.

I've heard very very good reviews about ICE, sounds cheap and easy with great results. However I still have the full Zaino Ultimate kit on a shelf in my garage that been there for the last few months so I figured I'd better use that up. I still haven't used Zaino yet. . But from what I've read that's a day or two application.

I sure hope Jedi54 doesn't read that.

haha zaino takes too long! and it's hard to buff off. I waxed mine in the garage where it was nice and cool. I'll try and wax it again over the weekend under some sun.

meh, I may pick up some of this ICE and try it first. Couldn't hurt.

Jedi if you read that it doesn't really say what you think it does. It's just a figment of your imagination. All is good in Zainoland.

Tried the "ICE" out today, pretty damn good! very easy to apply and you can definitly use it directly under the sun. My only complain is that it is abit hard to tell where the wax was applied or over-applied. I thought I had it all wiped off but as soon as I take off my sunglasses I see all these oily spots, but thats probably due to the fact that I was doing it right under the Sun at 12pm.

Here are some pictures..

1. Doing it directly under the sun no problem

2. 100km on the road later still looking good

3. My sister uses the 3M wax, but I think the "ICE" is better ( taking both Time and Result into consideration)

4. Random Picture

it is the easiest wax ever. you can wipe it everywhere. it works okay IMO, and would be better with some layers of other waxes.

Turtle ICE is DA SHITZ !

HOly crap, usually when I use other wax (or older Turtle Wax) when it rains, the car's finish gonna look like crap the next day.

but now. oh still looks really shinny and not much water marks ! :D

I'm Lovin' it ! (NO I dont work for McDonalds !)

Wax in hot sun works extra fine, minimum drying time needed. Mutiple uses can build up but not whitish just sort of oily and needs to be wiped off when you get too much. Sort of a dust magnet, real pain if you live a mile and half up a dirt road!
