I bought this and have high hopes that it will work because I hate taking the time with clay bars. Intructions say you have to do one section at a time like a clay bar and if you look at the bottle you can see the clay at the bottom. I have to wait until I get warmer weather (live in NY) to use it. I'll keep you posted.

I found some at Target a few weeks ago.
The stuff is great. I wish I took pictures after I did it. It turned out beautiful. I pulled it into the shop and you could get a perfect mirror reflection of the whole shop. And it was sooooo silkly smooth to the touch. I loved it.
I'll take pictures next time, hopefully sometime this week.

Does it really remove swirl marks as the description states?
That's about the only "flaw" in my car that I can see.
After a thorough washing and waxing, I see swirl marks and it makes me very sad
If this does what it says it can do, I will not be sad, and instead will be not-sad

What Meguiars are you referring to? I got a clay bar with the spray detailer and some wax in a set and have used it two or three times on the car and didn’t really notice a difference, I know there is a difference in clay bar abrasiveness maybe that’s why mine doesn’t do what I thought, could you tell me what one you have that impressed you? I have some light swirls that I really want to get rid of can anyone recommend a product?

I used Mother's Clay Bar last summer, and it was removing soot and dirt that I did not know was there. It also took off road grime I could not feel with my fingertip. Fantastic product IMO
But I am willing to try this liquid clay bar if it does what it says it can do; remove swirl marks!
We'll see though, just waiting for some nice weather is all
Cheers,
Ed

Turtle Wax Liquid Clay Bar
Bought it the other day and used it yesterday. I did the whole car at once and it is real easy to put on, really easy! On a couple of spots where there were water marks I buffed a little harder and could see them disappear. I just hosed off the stuff when finished. I would recommend using a rag to wipe when hosing since I saw a few spots with residue but I wiped them off before waxing.
I have never used a clay bar before so I can't compare to that but I did notice how great the paint was cleaned up and how my wax from previous application was gone but after rewaxing (used Liquid Ice) it looks great, much better than before.
I'll be using this stuff in the future whenever there is another buildup of grime, water spots, etc. I'd recommend this to anyone since it's cheap ($10 at local Fred Meyer), quick and easy to use and clean up and helps restore the paint to its former self. Have fun with it...

Here of some pics of my sunlight silver after washing it with Mr. Clean Auto-Dry (btw the clay removed the sheeting film) and then used ICE liquid clay bar, followed by ICE polish. For me the clay didn't really do much to my car, but that's probably because I messed up somewhere. Either way my car is shiny and I love it. Oh yea and my car is smooth as a baby's behind after using the wax, my hand slips when I lean on it sometimes. =D
-P.S.
For a "before" pic just look at the "Calling all Sunlight Silver" thread or imagine the car being slightly less shiny.

Looks great! the only concern I kind of have is that the claybar is suppose to remove whatever is on the car right, including previous wax. And I dont think turtle wax ICE provide that much of a protection. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm a bit hesitant in using tthe liquid clay without having "real" wax to put on afterward
