Window tint concerns?

Window tint concerns?
I want to tint but haven't yet. Here are my concerns:
How do they affect the power windows? Any concerns of adding stress to the motor and future failure it?
Real concern for the rear window with the defrost and antenna; reapplication, etc.
Quality of tint, possbily of any discoloration over time?
The few examples I've seen here look great.
I would get the small rear/side windows quite dark, with the side and rear not nearly as much. I don't like the blacked out look, limo-style, just darkening to be effective.
thks

First of all, make sure to get a high quality tint so there's no discoloration. I got titanium based llumar tints and they are very good. I have no problem with the antenna/defroster in the rear window, and these are so flat that the motor for the window is a non-issue. There is no aditional stress.
Your a bit far from me, but I might be in Tampa in a couple weeks. If you dont have it by then we can hook up adn you can check it out.

Oosik,
I have had all my cars in the past tinted. Including this one, and have experienced no problems. Get good tint and go to a good installer.
If you're looking for one. Tint America on Drew St is good.

Any reputable tint shop with high quality tints will usually offer a lifetime warranty on it too, while the crappy tints tend to have 3 year warranty's (cause it discolors in just about 3 years). Whatever you do, dont have a "friend of a friend" do it. Not unless thats a really good friend (who would be willing to help you tear out shitty tints if thier buddy doesnt do a good job :D).

I got 3M brand tint on mine. The installer told me that I should't use metalized film with the antenna in the back window, but mine looks great and does have a lifetime warranty. This car needs tint to look its best in my opinion.
