Zaino products
Just purchased a new 8 (red with red/black inside). Super car, especially after 3 Miatas in the past 10 years! Kids and Miatas don't mix, but I think the 8 was targeted just for me (wife and 2 kids with dad who loves to go fast and look cool!). Anyway, I've always heard you should wait 3-6 months before waxing a new car to let the paint "cure". Any truth to that, especially with the Zaino products?

No, you don't have to wait 3-6 months, that's an OLD tale. The 8 is made in Japan, so by the time it gets to the states the paint is 'cured'. I spoke with Sal Zaino two years ago after I had my previous car repainted. Sal told me if the paint isn't cured (Sal used the word "dry") after two weeks, it'll never be cured. Sal told me Zaino's chemical composition was similar to paint, and to not worry about using it on 'new' paint. I did and never had any problems.
