Zaino or Showroom FX (Tropi Care)
I'll be returning from Iraq within the next week and a few days (as long as another volcano doesn't erupt!), and my car should be back to the Ft. Lewis, WA tomorrow.
The last time I was the car was in March, when it was about 10 degrees out back in Michigan....and it was in need a grand detailing job. My roommate has a pristine 06 GTO and recommends both companies products. Im willing to drop a couple bills to get all new products, since our storage company that packed our stuff up would not store any type of liquids, or open items (protein and workout stuff)
Im looking at just buying the pail kits so I can start on the car quickly after I get back. Both offer very similar options for around the same price. Any advice from the peanut gallery?

If where you live has really hard water, then Zaino Z2 will drive you nuts with water spots. Z5/Z8 is better, but still a little difficult to deal with. As much as I loved Zaino, I had to switch due to water spots with my hard water. You can mix a very small amount of vinegar in with a quick detail to help wipe off the spots, but that also may have the adverse effect of removing a little bit of the Zaino...no way to know really.
I switched over to Collinite 845. Cheap, last forever, looks good, and beads water like you've never seen (Zaino beads water like crazy, but Collinite is in a class of its own). Best part is water spots wipe off with ease when using a regular QD (no vinegar).
