I priced the car at $7000 based on KBB Private Party Value in "Good" condition with premium sound as the only option checked. It does have 130,000 miles on it alot of which are from when I traveled for work for about 2 years so mostly interstate miles. I've babied this car for the 4 years I've had it:
Only 5w30 Mobil 1 Non-Synthetic oil changes
EBC Redstuff Brakepads (no racing, a friend told me these produced less dust)
Never Flooded
Washed, Polished, Waxed with Meguiars about once per month
Upgraded sound system (Infinity Kappa series speakers in doors/rear deck, Tsunami wiring throughout, 4channel amp going to door/deck speakers, 10" subwoofer in custom fit enclosure, 2channel amp bridged going to that)
Installed iPod connection ( can control your ipod from steeringwheel)
Hardwired in smartwire-radar detector (bel 995)
The only work I've ever had to have done to it was about one year ago I had the coils replaced (they went out at 110,000 miles) and I had no clue what was wrong with it. While at the dealership they changed the plugs and also installed the higher RPM updated starter. Also, they ran a compression check and everything checked out fine (I'm sure I could find the results if i looked). Also soon thereafter, I discovered the catalytic converter was clogged and I had it degutted, of course tripping the CEL. I've gotten used to seeing it on, but imagine to a potential new owner this could be worrisome; search the forums and find all the info you need about degutting a cat and how it affects the computer (hint..no big deal, just a CEL).
In the spirit of full disclosure I have included two pictures which show a couple of dings that I've gotten over the past few years in parking lots (by people too nice to leave their contact info). And approximately 8 months ago I bumped into the rear of a lady in an SUV in some stop and go traffic at a mall. It was at about 5-7 mph, just enough where her trailer hitch had some fun with my hood and front bumper cover. NO FRAME/ENGINE/RADIATOR etc. damage. The shop that State Farm recommended did a great job with the bodywork and I can't tell anything ever happened. I do have the receipts and all paperwork showing all the work they did.
Please reply via response or PM with any questions.
