You are looking at a 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT. The car is black with a black and red leather interior. The vehicle has a 6-Speed Manual Transmission, and runs and drives great. I have owned the car since February 2009. As for maintenance I have ensured all regular oil changes every 3,000 miles with Castrol GTX (NON-Synthetic) Oil. For those that know the RX's these vehicles use oil as part of normal operation and it is recommended by Mazda not to use synthetic oil for this reason. I have also had new Goodyear Eagle GT Tires put on a few months back, which are in great shape, and I had the spark plugs changed, which is recommended every 40,000 miles. Other than that the car has treated me very well. It is a lot of fun to drive and handles wonderfully. I have only ever used premium gas in the car, which is recommended by Mazda. There are two defects cosmetically with the car, which I have shown in the pictures below. There is a crack in the rear bumper followed by a scratch on the rear corner panel. This was caused by the previous owner. My local body shop provided a quote of $500 to fix. There is also a small dent on the right front fender that is difficult to see unless you're standing beside the car. I received a quote of $280 to fix the fender. I have discounted the car accordingly to compensate for these cosmetic defects; however, if the buyer would prefer to pay the additional quoted figures in addition to the final sale price, than I am willing to make the arrangements and have the body work completed. There may be a few additional miles on the car by the time of sale as I do still occasionally drive the car.
This really is a beautiful car and I am confident the new owner will be very pleased as I have been. I would not normally be selling this car, but I have recently been laid off and must make some sacrifices until work picks up again.
Features:
The interior is a rare color scheme, as few were produced that feature the black and red leather interior. The car has the GT package: heated leather front seats, leather rear seats, sliding sunroof, front/side airbags, rear spoiler, Bose sound system, cd player, RX8 logo mats, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, six way power driver seat, keyless entry (I have two sets of keys both with keyless entry pad and also a valet key), cruise control, digital speedometer, auto dimming rear view mirror with home link, Xenon headlights, fog lights, driver and passenger vanity mirrors with lights, sport tuned suspension, and leather wrapped steering wheel.
Warranty/Inspection:
The factory warranty has expired and the vehicle is being sold as-is. With that being said the vehicle has recently been WV State inspected and I attest that the car is in great condition as described above.
