2004 Pettit RX-8 $20000
Blown Engine Mazda RX-8 For Sale
Grand touring, all options except for navigation.
Year: 2004
Color: Winning Blue Metallic with black leather
Miles: 59,500
The good stuff: This car has about ten thousand dollars invested in mainly performance parts. The car has a Pettit supercharger with about 5000 miles on it. The car also has a Mazdaspeed front bumper, added to keep temperatures down, and of course for looks. It also has a Pettit High flow cat, and Borla cat back exhaust. The ignition coils, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and many other parts replaced when supercharger was insalled. The car puts over 300hp to the ground.
The bad stuff: I blew the engine, not sure how, I have always driven conservatively aside from a few WOT runs, but I won't have the 6 grand to give to Pettit for the rebuild until next summer, so if someone is willing to pay $11000 (maybe high, I don't know, but I would wait to fix it myself before I let it go for less) and wants to fix it, it's theirs.
I should also mention I have all factory parts, except the cat-back, but including the old cat. I also have a K&N Typhoon V2, so hopefully that helps
Price is $11000. Feel free to email me for more pictures, details, and to get into the car.
Also, you all know RX-8's better than me, so if you have any suggestions, advice, or just want to poke fun at my stationary RX-8, post.

test drive
Unfortunately to make sure the car doesn't get torn up, I've never, and never will let anyone drive it till it's there. However, as I said I will drive it so you can see that it performs perfect and is mechanically sound, not to mention, you could check it out, or have a mechanic check it out for you that knows rotaries. It's not that I'm hiding anything, I'm simply protective, it is after all my only child! lol
