engine has low compression but runs fine. it will need replacing eventually but I still drive it between Austin and Houston regularly. trans is fine. i have taken the best care of this car that I could. it's still a blast to drive. chassis is perfectly straight, has a couple of fender benders on record.

electric power steering rack replaced by mazda at 155k miles.
fuel pump relaced with series 2 rx-8 pump at 165k miles.
