i went ahead and put on new tires today.
they are GT Radial Champiro 328 sized 245/45/R18.
spent $400, but i like the way they feel and look.
handles corners better and softer ride, hence the 245/45.
but yea, the car is still for sale at $16,000 obo.

 

i just paid the $200 CA registration, now good for another year until feb 2009.
mileage is now about 42,500
price is now $15,500.

 

edit your original post and put your current price in there. take out the "tires at 20%" part and put in that you have bought new ones. to the top for you.

 

why is it now that one is seriously in the market for an 8 that all the cars available are

1. horribly overpriced
2. the cars that I do find don't come with the options/colors I want
3. i find the car i'm after with the right price but its THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY!!!! arrrrgh
