I'm looking to part ways with my Manual Transmission, Titanium Grey Grand Touring RX-8. Car is current on all maintenance, garage kept, and in excellent condition. Put new Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S tires on it at 18,000 miles. I have all documentation including original sticker, RX-8 Video, maintenance records, etc.

Options:
Premium Bose Sound, Appearance Package, Rotary Accent Pkg, Leather, Moonroof, Bi-Xenons/Autoleveling Headlights, airbags, etc. <- Totally loaded & Stickered for about $32K

So, is no one buying or is my price out of line? The car is pretty much mint with low miles. I've had 2 people come look and offer to buy, but both of their loans didn't come through!

 

Has the car ever been in an accident or had any bodywork? Are you the original owner? Any mods on the car now or in the past? Do you smoke in the car? You mentioned the car was "pretty much mint"....what keeps it from being 100% mint condition?

Sorry for all the questions, but I've dabbled with the idea of an RX-8 as a weekend toy for a while now, but got cold feet a year or two ago when I was first looking, but now I am potentially back in the market.

No problem on the questions! Here's the answers:

1. No accidents, I'm the only owner
2. No Mods
3. I don't smoke and I've never had anyone smoke in car (in fact, I don't even know a smoker. how crazy is that?)
4. Only thing keeping it from 100% mint is that it's not a 2010 new car on the lot.

The paint is in great shape, new tires, interior's pristine. It's been garage kept and if weather is nasty, I take my wife's Yukon. I'm only selling because with kids' activities (Ice Hockey and Figure Skating), we divide and conquer quite a bit. RX-8 just doesn't have the room for Hockey gear.

Love the car. I sold my 04 LY back in June to buy a house and, GOSH, I miss it. I fully intend to have another one...if I was just a little further along in my "debt reduction" plan, I would make an offer and head north. It is very nice and they are hard to find used without mods...glad you've left it unmolested!!

 

Thanks! I'm hoping I get more bites now that the weather's turning. It's truly a great car. I'd keep it as a weekender, but I need the $ for a down payment on a 'practical' driver to tote the kids and hockey equipment around!
