f/s 2005 6spd ti gray
I am thinking of selling my rx8, it is a 2005 titanium gray, 6 speed, sport package. As with most members of this site car is extremely babied and has had a oil change at 1,000 mi, and every 3,000 after that. I just hit 7,000 mi today and will
change the oil tomorrow. It has toyo proxes 4 which were put on right after purchase, but were not needed since the car sat in the garage during the bad snowfalls. I also purchased a 3m clear bra which is still in the package, I'm not sure if I am going to install it before I officially post it for sale in the local paper/internet if I decide to do so since the car is in the garage, I do not want to put any more miles on it untill I decide. In your honest opinons what do you think a good asking price would be. I live in se michigan. Many thanks.

ok, I finally decided to sell, and I need to do so very soon. The vehicle now has 16800 miles on it and is still in excellent condition. Kbb.com lists private party value at 21,500. So I would like to get 20,000 obo. (One of my relatives also decided to sell his car, and it is pretty much the car I have always wanted.)

I saw your first message on 7/16 and then your second on 8/25, and thought WOW, 10k miles in a month- way to go! Then I realized it was actually a YEAR and a month. hehe.
Good luck with your sale. Personally, I think the sport version is the best trim package on the 8 (for tall people especially!).

haha, I just noticed that. I saw the post about updating original posts instead of creating a new one. Its funny that I had the idea the same time last year, only this time I actually put it in the paper and I have a reason. thanks.

I responded to your pm, but then I looked at this thread so I am confused about which one was sent first as I did not look at the times. I will send the pics to your email tomorrow morning, but please forgive if I sent them after what you wrote in your pm was written after this post.

no i sent the PM first then posted in here later. i do still want pics as the car doesnt look like its going to be terribly expensive to fix other than new airbags. it will all depend on what i will be able to get for my current car but the insurance part doesnt look like its going to be a problem.
long story short i am still interested...lol
