Has anyone any info for me. I have a good condition 2004 (54 plate) 192 BHP. I've had it from new. Thinking of changing Car now 3 years old. However, I've advertised on Autotrader 3 times, in the local rag, and an advert in the Car and no interest from anyone.

Its got 33k miles on it and still very smart. passed MOT without any problems. Has anyone any success. I'm looking for £10,500 which I think is reasonable. Any ideas anyone ?

 

According to Google that is $21,519 US. That would be kind of the high side here for a 2004 model. Any idea what others are selling for there? Any other RX-8's in Autotrader?

 

The value of an 8 In England should be higher than it is here in straight dollars if for no other reason than the horrific condition of the dollar. That said, I would assume that the poster has checked local comparables before listing his car.

Man, you advertised in Car and no one called? I think that the problem is probably a lack of market penetration for the car in England. Most of my English friends look at mine and think that they aren't even sold there. (I have personally only seen one in Birmingham) I would look for a sports car oriented site to sell the car. You might be able to find a more informed buyer at a more targeted advertising site. You also might be able to find one who cares less about the fuel mileage.

Its not the right time to sell car's in the UK, you should wait for a good period to sell right now car's won't sell as much as they probably would have couple of months back.

Ebay the car, that worked well with my old car and i found my rx8 on ebay!

The RX8 is sold in Denmark for around £60,000 after all the taxes, sounds pretty cheap when its only £25,000 new in uk!
